4.5 Tonne Base Plate Car Hoist Single Point Release YL-240

Unlike lighter 4500 kg variants on the market that use thinner gauge steel and lack structural rigidity under heavy off-centre loads, this 4.5-tonne hoist uses 5 mm thick steel posts and reinforced internal carriages to eliminate structural deflection. It is engineered explicitly for commercial mechanical garages, fleet repair centres, and trade workshops operating within standard sheds or low-clearance bays, meaning it is not suited to high-roof workshops where an overhead clear-floor layout is preferred for moving tall workshop equipment underneath.

Key Features

• Double Extension Arms — The flexible asymmetric arm design extends from 890 mm to 1390 mm on the long arms and 740 mm to 1050 mm on the short arms to suit various vehicle wheelbases.
• Screw-Adjustable Lifting Pads — Heavy-duty adjustable lifting pads permit precise placement under factory chassis points, with bonus pad height extenders included for high-clearance four-wheel drives.
• High-Strength Equalisation — Heavy-duty 9 mm high-tensile steel cables coordinate carriage movement to ensure level lifting even when weight distribution is uneven.
• Industrial Slide Blocks — Macro-molecular polyethylene slide blocks offer heat resistance and high structural strength to ensure smooth vertical travel up the columns.

Before You Order

Installation requires a level, fully cured concrete slab with a minimum thickness of 115 mm and a compressive strength rating of 32Mpa. The electro-hydraulic power pack operates via a standard 240 V single-phase electrical supply connected to a dedicated 15 A circuit breaker (should not operate off of a 10amp extension lead). Ensure your workshop floor footprint accommodates the 3477 mm overall width and that the 2794 mm overall height clears all structural roof beams and hanging garage doors.
