Our story
Family Owned Since 2005
Aussie Car Hoists opened in 2005. Twenty-one years later it's still family owned and family run, these days by Jack and Tyson Shillito and a team of eight.
That matters more than it sounds. A car hoist is a piece of equipment you'll own for twenty years, and a warranty is only worth as much as the business standing behind it.
We were here in 2005. We'll be here when you need us.
How we work
We're Not Importers With A Catalogue
Most suppliers in this country buy hoists from a factory and put their logo on the column.
We work directly with two manufacturing facilities, and we've been hands-on in setting them up and developing them, including supporting their growth into export markets worldwide. We're involved in how our hoists are built, not just what we order.
Two things follow from that. We control what goes into them: high-grade steel and premium components, including the parts you never see. And when you ring us with a question, you're talking to someone who knows how the thing goes together, not someone reading a spec sheet back to you.
If the standard range doesn't suit, we can have a hoist custom-designed and manufactured to your requirements. Very few suppliers in Australia can offer that at all.

The Full Range, Out The Door In 24 Hours
We hold our entire range in our warehouse with fresh stock landing weekly: two post, four post, scissor, storage and truck hoists, tyre changers, wheel aligners, wheel balancers, motorcycle lift tables, workshop equipment and the spare parts to keep all of it running.
Orders placed on a business day are dispatched within 24 hours. On the rare occasion something isn't on the shelf, we'll ring you before we take your money.
If you're fitting out a workshop, you shouldn't need four suppliers to do it.
