YL-140B Base Plate Car Hoist 4.5 Tonne Suitable for Thinner Concrete

Unlike standard clear-floor hoists that mandate deep concrete anchors and tall overhead structures, this floor plate lifting system uses an expansive steel base link to anchor securely in settings with constrained foundations. It is engineered explicitly for regional workshop sheds, commercial bays with low roof profiles, or premises where deep slab excavation is not possible, meaning it is not suited to rapid-pace tire fitting operations that prefer single-point or automatic electronic lock release configurations.

Key Features

• Telescopic Support Arms — Three-stage front arms and two-stage rear arms adjust quickly to fit correct manufacturer chassis lift points on both short-wheelbase hatchbacks and long-wheelbase utility vehicles.
• Heavy-Duty Synchronisation Cables — High-tensile steel coordination cables run inside the low-profile floor plate to guarantee both lifting carriages stay perfectly level throughout the entire cycle.
• Adjustable Screw Pads — Polyurethane lifting pads thread up or down to achieve fine clearance matching under side steps, with height adapter sleeves included for four-wheel drives.
• Automatic Arm Restraints — Mechanical gear locks engage automatically as the carriage ascends to prevent the lifting arms from pivoting outward while the vehicle is elevated.

Before You Order

Installation requires a level concrete slab with a minimum thickness of 100 mm and a compressive strength rating of 32Mpa, which must be fully cured prior to bolting. The electro-hydraulic power pack operates via a standard 240 V single-phase electrical supply connected to a dedicated 15 A circuit breaker (should not operate off of a 10amp extension lead). Verify that your workshop bay provides sufficient physical clearance for the 3477 mm overall width and the 2794 mm top-of-column height.
